Monika Szpener

She deals with widely understood sculpture and spatial activities, creating interdisciplinary installations, monumental objects or site-specific and re-design works.

The inspiration for her realizations, regardless of how strongly they enter into cultural discourses, is subjective, personal and sensual attitude to reality. She has done a number of dedicated art projects for private entities as well as in collaboration with cultural institutions. Research and didactic worker at the Faculty of Architecture of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. Originator and curator of Remondis Art Corner in Szczecin, a place in public space where monumental sculptural objects were realized. Since 2017 curator of Galeria Jedna/Druga in Szczecin.
