The author of Asteroid and Sofa-Shelf: On Polish Industrial Design, and articles for plein-air and design exhibition catalogues and about glass and ceramics artists.
She runs the Heliotrop blog, and records a podcast with designers and craftspeople. Her interest in post-war design is rooted in a fondness for interior design. She is not a collector, yet she can not keep herself from collecting glass and ceramics, whether post-war Polish designs or contemporary ones. In her interiors, furniture from the 1950s and 60s rub shoulders with contemporary Scandinavian design, joined with designs by young artists, and even Art Deco ceramics. Yet her greatest pleasure comes in investigating the history of design, listening to tales of designers, and then sharing them through the written word.
